- Kate was discovered aged 14 at JFK airport while returning to England after a family holiday in the Bahamas by Sarah Doukas of the Storm Agency.
- In 1995, Kate received the 'Fashion Personality of the Year' award and she won the Vogue/VH1 Model of the Year Award in 1996.
- She was featured in Peter Lindbergh's book '10 Women', as well as appearing in Ellen von Unwerth's film 'Inferno', the comedy series 'French & Saunders' and also in the videos for Elton John's 'Something About The Way You Look Tonight' and Primal Scream's 'Kowalski'.
- Kate had a cameo appearance as Maid Marian in the film 'Blackadder' and featured in a 23 minute art film, 'Original Copies', shot by photographer Juergen Teller.
- She has released her own picture book called 'Kate: The Kate Moss Story'.
- Kate gave birth to a daughter, Lila Grace, on 29th September 2002.
- Kate has two small tattoos; one of a star on her ankle and a tiny heart on her hand.
- Kate appeared in the 1994 & 2006 Pirelli Calendar.
